CIPP (cured-in-place pipe). With SAK's unique CIPP system, the company can rehabilitate sewer pipes ranging from 6 inches to 96 inches in diameter. As an exclusive licensed installer of Aqua-Pipe®, SAK renews drinking water mains from 6 inches to 16 inches in diameter. In addition, SAK’s “no-dig” CIPP approach means that most damaged sewer pipes can be rehabilitated quickly and cost-effectively, with minimal disruption or inconvenience to the surrounding community and environment.
Large diameter tunneling. SAK Construction has the expertise and equipment to tackle tunnel construction in all types of ground conditions and in sizes ranging from 48-inch diameter up to 32-foot arch shape. SAK management and personnel are well-versed in the construction of soft-ground hand-mined tunneling, drill-and-blast tunneling, and tunnel construction with both soft-ground and hard-rock tunnel-boring machines of all types.
Specialized capabilities. Repair, reconstruction, expansion or installation of water, wastewater and stormwater systems often requires a variety of specialized capabilities. SAK provides a wide range of services, including shotcreting, large diameter sliplining, shaft excavation, grouting, crack sealing and manhole and related structure rehabilitation.
